Panda Are Doing Better, Turtles Are Not

Earlier this week, Pandas officially got downgraded from Endangered to Vulnerable in the International Union for Conservation of nature (IUCN) red list. This is an extremely good news, but what about the other 5,100 Endangered species of animals ? Have we heard about the Nubian Flapshell Turtle going from Near Threatened to Critically Endangered this year ? How about the geometric tortoise Psammobates geometricus ? These are animals that we barely hear about when it comes to conservation, yet they need our help as well.
