243 Kilograms of Turtles Destined to Vietnam Rescued
It started from a chase in Kandal province and it resulted in the rescue of snakes and turtles. Although the number of snakes and turtles remains unknown, we know that there was 124 kg of snakes and 243 kg of turtles. The man stopped the car and left the scene, leaving behind him the animals. Mr. Dara, the customs chief at the checkpoint, said that environment NGO Wildlife Alliance collected the seized animals and would release them back into the wild.
