Face-tattooed ‘rare animal smuggler’, 25, charged (video)
25-year-old man, Buddy Pogmore, has been charged by Australian police with illegally capturing and trafficking rare and endangered reptiles. Police raided the man’s home in Lethbridge Park, West Sydney, where they found various turtles, lizards, snakes and crocodiles.
Pogmore has been charged with 169 offences, all relating to his illegal trafficking activity, which includes animal abuse. It was further alleged that Pogmore captured the rare animals himself in the wild, where he then sold them to overseas buyers sometimes in excess of AUD$38,000 each.
