Thousands Of Astrochelys Radiata Flood The Scene Of TSA Rescue Efforts Yet Again!
Just when the Turtle Survival Alliance had began to recoup from the chaos and exhaustion of the recent incredibly massive Astrochelys radiata confiscation, hearts sank yet again, as news flooded in from Madagascar of yet another astronomical seizure of the same species. Albeit somewhat smaller, 7,347 unfortunate animals were discovered crammed together and hidden less than 50 miles from the hectic event of several months ago. Such a bold action is horrendous news for this already critically endangered chelonian, but the TSA has leaped into action sending their highly capable team of experts to the scene, with TSA-Madagascar staff and veterinarians taking the lead to initiate primary exams and emergency treatment for the rescued tortoises. Collaborating with the SOPTOM-CRCC and the DREEF, the TSA is implementing everything in their power to get the situation under control and as such they are requesting the immediate assistance from international organizations as well as private donors to remedy the dangerous and critically paramount issue at hand.
