We’ve had turtles entangled in shoe laces, dragging a shoe…” Whatever the case may be the Sea Turtle Stranding and Salvage Network—led by NOAA Fisheries and made up of federal, state, non-profit, and volunteer organizations from the Atlantic Coast and Gulf of Mexico—is the first to be notified and first to respond.
