Unexpected Rare Wood Turtle Hatched
This is pretty uncommon yet pretty awesome. A man dug up 8 eggs by mistake while he was having work done with an excavator. The man build a nest and buried the eggs somewhere else and watched them everyday for a month. He did not know whether they were turtles eggs or snakes eggs until the hatched. After a month of incubation, 7 babies wood turtles Glyptemys insculpta, came out of the nest. Terry Power, a biologist from the Department of Natural Resources came to Cleveland and helped move the turtles to a nearby pond.
