Meet the Sri Lankan Community That’s Working to Protect Baby Sea Turtles

It is no secret that the world’s sea turtles are facing many threats everywhere they occur, and in particular where they nest. That’s why when communities come together to protect the turtles’ nesting beaches it is a big deal. It becomes even bigger when those beaches are home to 5 of the 7 sea turtles in the world, like the beaches found in Sri Lanka.
