TheTurtleRoom Reaches New Heights With Monumentous Achievement Towards Further Conservation and Education Efforts
An already flourishing and developing program, theTurtleRoom has surpassed expectations with their outstanding conservation and educational programs, turning heads and generating impressive publicity with their outreach to the community and their continued success with a plethora of chelonian species. Their motto, “Education. Conservation. Survival.”, has reached thousands as they set the superb example of species preservation at its very best while simultaneously introducing incredible opportunities for the community to gain valuable knowledge regarding the plight of the world’s turtles and tortoises, as well as the methods they themselves are able to employ as individuals to contribute to conservation efforts.
As of November 5th, theTurtleRoom is officially announcing the launch of their status as a non-profit organization in the state of Pennsylvania, and this unbelievable accomplishment is a massive step forward and breathtaking moment for all the dedicated leadership and staff members. As the original founder, Executive Director, and now President of theTurtleRoom, Steve Enders has lead the way towards the success of the organization, alongside Anthony Perlioni, whose vital role as Senior Director and now Vice-President has greatly contributed to the furtherance of their important mission. Joined by officers Casey Leone and Lisa Enders, this solid leadership team will prove invaluable as theTurtleRoom pushes forwards towards even more seemingly insurmountable goals.
TheTurtleRoom will continue to collaborate as vital partners with the Turtle Survival Alliance, the Turtle Conservancy and other organizations and are thrilled to move the organization towards greater successes and increased education, conservation, and research goals. They have already filed their Form 1023 paperwork to earn federal 501(c)(3) status, and are requesting donations (which are now tax-deductible) to help cover the legal fees for the transition and non-profit setup. There are multiple ways to contribute to their mission, such as through their website or their GoFundMe page, in addition to the purchase of their 2019 calendar; however, they are grateful and appreciative for any method of support.
