In Canada, new programs set to help care for & transport injured turtles
Turtles Kingston is proud to launch their ‘Volunteer Transport Driver’ and ‘Temporary Holding Station’ Programs.
We have created these Programs to effectively respond to the turtle crisis on our roads, especially during the nesting season, May and June. We know that the public is not always able to transport an injured or dead turtle to Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre which can be emotionally challenging when there is no other choice than to abandon the turtle.
