The Gladys Porter Zoo Receives Top Honors From The AZA
The Gladys Porter Zoo received top honors from the Association of Zoos and Aquariums for its Kemp’s Ridley Sea Turtle Binational Conservation Program. The “North American Conservation Award” is given to organizations that showed tremendous efforts for habitat conservation and restoration and support of biodiversity in the wild. This year and through their Kemp’s Ridley Sea Turtle Binational Conservation Program the award goes to the Gladys Porter Zoo.
