Anthony shows the uncovering of a turtle nest which was laid in harm’s way. He details the incubation techniques and eventual release of these 32 potential hatchlings.
Please keep in mind that this nest would have never been touched if not for being laid in such a dangerous location where ATVs and dirt bikes constantly tear up the soil. Eggs are almost always best left alone; using some kind of wire to protect the nest is often a better choice. Keep in mind, many species are protected and tampering with eggs is often illegal.
